After 7 years, Alhamdulillah we get another baby. And it's a girl. Kakak Fatin (my 1^st child) of course the happiest sister in the world. (sebelum dia tau betapa susahnya jaga baby kan..haha)

After 6 months, it is time to introduce her to other food. There is a lot of website that gives you good information before you can start trying your own method for your baby.

Basic thing is you need to understand your baby, so can prepare an ideal meal for her first eat.

When your baby reaches 4 to 6 months of age, you will often realise that she no longer feels full on breast or formula milk alone. Once your baby can hold her head up in a high chair or while sitting on your lap, and starts opening her mouth when food comes her way you can slowly start to introduce and supplement with solid food.

Initially just give your baby a little taste on a spoon of the new foods. It is important that she slowly gets accustomed to spoon food and the taste of the new foods. You can choose to cook the food yourself or buy ready-made baby food. Irrespective of what you choose to do, it is a good idea to see that your baby’s first spoon foods are a little soft in consistency. Do continue breastfeeding or bottle-feeding your baby.

When you start giving your baby rice porridge or mashed potatoes, you can mix vegetables like carrots, corn broccoli, spinach or peas into them. Fruits, such as ripe apples and pears, peaches and bananas work well as early spoon food.

** Check for allergic reaction
Wait for 3 days before you introduce new food. You should be able to tell within this period if your baby is going to react to the food.

For my baby, the first is carrot puree with milk. Then, I continue with potato puree with milk, followed by avocado and apple. She can eat so well, that I don’t need to force her to feed her (big eater like mama..hehe)

After a week, only I cooked her porridge with vegetable and chicken stock. She took it well too. Well done, baby.

** I noticed that she cannot take sweet potato. There is redness around her mouth afterward. Better leave it.

How your baby's feeding habit progresses:

•             At five months, your baby should be able to move the tongue to the back of her mouth and use the lips to eat from a spoon.

•             At six months, your baby should be able to use her jaws to chew. As portions get bigger, the foods your baby can eat can become firmer in consistency

•             At seven months most babies can sit up and be fed

•             At eight months, your baby should be able to chew the food well. She can chew a little dry food mixing it with saliva, and little by little should be able to eat small pieces of bread or baby biscuit and soft, boiled vegetables. Perhaps by now your baby can use a pincer grip to hold, for example, a small piece of bread between her thumb and index finger. Your baby should also be able to drink from a cup. If the baby reaches out for your food, it is a good idea to let her have a little taste.

•             At nine to 12 months, you can usually share what the rest of the family is having with your baby who will now be able to chew and take a bite out of a piece of bread or biscuit. Your baby will need practice to get the spoon to her mouth but it is a good idea to let your baby have her own spoon (a plastic spoon would not hurt). In the months to come your baby will learn to eat with a spoon and to pick up food with a fork – almost without spilling.

Cuba jadikan sebagai amalan wajib setiap hari. Insya Allah, hari yang dilalui akan bertambah tenang walau sesibuk mana pun. Moga setiap hari perjalanan hidup kita diredhai dan diberkati.

Fadhilat Solat Dhuha

Sebaik-baiknya solat Dhuha ini dikerjakan setiap hari kerana ia mempunyai banyak kelebihan dan fadhilatnya, dimana seseorang itu akan memperolehi keampunan Allah SWT, murah rezeki dan ketenangan jiwa serta kehidupan.

• Daripada Abu Hurairah r.a., Rasulullah SAW  bersabda: “Sesiapa Yang mengerjakan solat Dhuha dengan istiqamah nescaya akan diampuni dosanya olleh Allah sekalipun dosa itu sebanyak buih di lautan.”

• Rasulullah SAW  bersabda:  “Bahawasanya di syurga ada pintu yang dinamakan ‘Dhuha’. Maka apabila  tiba hari kiamat kelak, berserulah (malaikat) penyeru: “Manakah orang-orang yang telah mengamalkan solat Dhuha; Inilah pintu kamu, silakan masuk ke dalam syurga dengan Rahmat Allah.”   (HR At-Tabrani)

• Rasulullah SAW juga bersabda dalam hadits lain dari Nuwas bin Sam’an,  “Allah berfirman:“Wahai anak Adam, jangan sekali-kali engkau malas mengerjakan empat raka’at pada permulaan siang (Solat Dhuha), nanti pasti akan Ku cukupkan keperluanmu sampai ke petang harinya.”   (HR. Haklim dan Tabrani).

Waktu Solat Dhuha

Solat sunat Dhuha dilakukan pada waktu matahari sedang naik. Sekira cuacanya berhalangan adalah lebih mudah dengan merujuk kepada takwim waktu solat. Masanya adalah 28 minit selepas Syuruk, iaitu sekiranya waktu Syuruk 7.32 pagi dan ditambah 28 minit, maka masuknya waktu Dhuha bermula jam 8.00 pagi.

Walaupun begitu waktu paling afdal melakukan Solat Sunat Dhuha adalah anggaran matahari naik, tinggi segalah (7 hasta atau 3 meter), lebih kurang dalam pukul 9.30 pagi.

Zaid bin Arqam r.a. berkata: “Nabi SAW keluar menuju tempat Ahli Quba, di kala itu mereka sedang mengerjakan Solat Dhuha. Baginda bersabda; “Inilah solat orang-orang yang kembali kepada Allah, iaitu di waktu anak-anak unta telah bangkit kerana kepanasan waktu Dhuha.”  (HR. Ahmad, Muslim dan Tirmidzi).

Cara Mengerjakan Solat Dhuha

Solat ini boleh dilakukan sekurang-kurangnya dua rakaat sehinggalah 12 rakaat, tetapi yang paling banyak dikerjakan oleh Rasulullah ialahlapan rakaat.

a.  Solat sunat Dhuha dua rakaat:

i/  Ayat al-Kursi 10 kali dan Al-Ikhlas 10 kali atau;

ii/  As-Syams dan Ad-Dhuha. atau;

iii/  Al-lail dan Al-Insyirah.

b.  Solat Dhuha lebih daripada 4 rakaat;

i/  Solat Pertama :   As-Syams dan Ad-Dhuha.

ii/  Solat Seterusnya :   Surah al-Kafirun dan Al-Ikhlas.

3.   Semasa sujud terakhir bacalah sebanyak 40 kali:

Welcome year 2018

Terlalu banyak yang mahu diceritakan tetapi cuba untuk tulisnya sedikit demi sedikit. Idea menulis semakin menjunam walaupun itu lah yang dipelajari sepanjang 3 tahun di universiti dulu.

My skill is getting worse. Jadi untuk tahun ini, azam baru adalah untuk menulis dengan jayanya.
